4th Annual Samantha Hickey Foundation Las Vegas Night

The Samantha Hickey Memorial Foundation was founded in the honor of Samantha Hickey, who passed away from leukemia on November 23, 2002 at the age of three and a half. The foundation was started by Samantha’s parents, Chris and Tuesday Hickey, with the mission of improving the quality of life for children suffering life threatening diseases and their families; and to bring smiles to faces that don’t want to smile. In 2006, through the annual golf outing and Las Vegas night, the Foundation raised $55,000.

The moneys raised went to fund:

•Memorial Hospital Pediatric Oncology Unit
•Gifts for the kids in treatment at Memorial – in July & at Christmas
•Adoption of five families from Memorial’s Hematology/Oncology Pediatric Unit
•Donations to the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Memorial
•Donations to the Ronald McDonald House of Indianapolis
•Playroom to be built in Samantha’s honor at the Memorial Regional Children’s Hospital

The 4th Annual Samantha Hickey Foundation Las Vegas Night will be held this year on April 14 at St. Hedwig’s Memorial Center in South Bend (700 W. Western Ave., corner of Scott & Western).

If you're interested in donating, volunteering, or attending, give me a ring or send me an email. Chris is my boss, so besides making me look good, it is for a fabulous cause! Plus, it is a super fun night!
